Hired a cottage for New Year festivities for 4 nights. Cottage itself was lovely with beautiful scenic views from the sitting room. Staff were excellent and very friendly from reception, waiting and housekeeping nothing was too much trouble and quickly addressed any issues.
Beutiful walks around area. Only downside was the very late check-in and very early checkout which maybe could be addressed. Would recommend to anyone wanting to celebrate a New Year away from hone.

Went a couple of times for dinner and lunch. The bar area has a traditional pub feel which was nice but was quite small. The restaurant area isn't as nice. It is quite clinical and very bright, not much atmosphere. The food was good but service was a bit off as the staff didn't seem to know what was happening and drinks got forgotten about.

The location and staff were great. However, the room and food was fairly average. At nearly £200 for one nights B&B I feel it was considerably overpriced.

Underwhelmed by quite a lot during my one-night stay in this place. The hotel room was far away from a "king's" room. I'm a petite person and I filled up the whole space and the bed. I was given a room with a view but I was really struggling to see anything at all from the outside. You will bear noise coming from the bar downstairs. Still everything would've been tolerable and I would've overlooked everything if it hadn't been for the situation at breakfast. I sat myself down at a small table for two, expecting to be served. A moment later the receptionist/waitress/person in charge of apparently of the place comes up to me and asks if I can move to a table for one because it would get busy. I looked around and there were just tables for two or more. I was so confused. Anyhow she showed me which were the tables "for one". I went and sat myself down at one of those tables, still pretty much confused at what was going on. Then I realised that the "tables for two" had two small plates on them and the "tables for one" had one small plate. So instead of moving one small plate to another table, they asked a customer to stand up, carry coats, bags and everything to change places! That's really poor customer service. The breakfast area remained pretty empty, as expected for a Monday morning. For £12, I would've really been better off driving away to a much better breakfast and a much better reception than this. I was very disappointed

Stopped off for a quick bite before heading to my overnight stop.Had restaurant to myself,ordered the fish and chip,pint of Guinness, both really good,bar area very busy looks a good place to stay

One of the most picturesque locations! Hotel and it's grounds are maintained to a high standard. Staff are lovely and very helpful. We had the chance to have lunch in the snugg which was really nice. Looking forward to return in October for my daughters wedding.

Such a fabulous location, cottage was amazing, the staff fantastic and the food - unbelievably good! Highly recommend. The walks locally are so beautiful and peaceful ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a review of the Cabins. Absolutely Excellent! Hot Tub was spotless and amazing! We had the Oglivie lodge, The sauna was an awesome way to start the day, Solid Wi-Fi so we were able to broadcast YouTube ect to the TV whilst the log burner was on! Bliss! Even the day it rained heavy! Will be back no doubt!

Fantastic location. Wonderful walks around the area with spectacular scenery and wild animals. The hotel staff were amazing from carrying our bags upon arrival to fulfilling lots of different food requests. Food was great too. Restaurant quality. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We wanted to extend our stay but it was fully booked.
This venue comes highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel in a local location, situated just below a mountain range the leads up to Loch Brandy. Fantastic service, lovely staff and comfortable rooms. Dining is also excellent - full Scottish breakfast on offer in the morning as well. Highly recommend it.

We had our civil partnership ceremony at Glen Clova in May. The location is perfect - absolutely stunning. We stayed in the mill lodge which was lovely. Spotlessly clean, amazing hot tub, powerful shower, comfortable bed. It has a washing machine and a dishwasher! The staff were great especially Aaron the barman. He's just a young lad but he really looked after us and went above and beyond. The only negative was a 9.30am check out. I understand as they need to prepare the lodges for the next guests but it was a bit of a struggle trying to get everything out in time!

Walking group arrived for a post walk beer in climbers bar...grilled by reception on why we were there...DOH....one bar staff on duty on a Bank Holiday weekend not impressed 😠

Just back from a fantastic 4 night stay in a hideaway lodge. The lodge is beautiful, clean, kitted out with everything you could need, Wifi is really good and managed to
stream Prime with no problems. Hot tub was spotless. Bed was really comfy and the apartment was nice and cosy without being stuffy.
Hotel bar & food were lovely too. Brilliant menu choices, quality of food spot on ate there 3 nights and enjoyed it every time. Beer was good too! Service was amazing, everyone is really friendly and helpful.

Not sure about the rooms but a very cool place that we grabbed lunch at. Literally lost cell signal a few minutes before while on our way to Cairngorm National Park so we decided to stop in. The restaurant/pub was nice and staff was very friendly. Had an excellent meal and borrowed some Internet service to realize we were only a short 10 minute drive to the Park. Highly recommend stopping in for food or drink if you’re in the area. Thanks for the hospitality.

Just back from a lovely 2 night DBB at Glen Clova Hotel Angus. We had our dog with us so stayed in The Steadings which is lovely our room was called Clova very spacious for us & dog, on suite was immaculate, bed was the most comfortable we ve ever slept in when away. Menu & food was excellent, as we're all staff, very friendly & helpful.. plenty of lovely walks to do & beautiful scenery.. cannot recommend this Hotel & Lodges etc highly enough.
